Hello Friends and Family,

Scheels All Sports, Part 2

Link to this year's index by clicking here.

Since I had already walked around outside to see all the statues, it was most convenient to enter the store from the mall entrance. Immediately to the left of that entrance is an informal eatery.

The cafe is not fancy but there appear to be some interesting items on the menu including smoked meat sandwiches. And who can do pizza wrong? I do plan to give it a try soon.

And maybe even sooner, I am going to have to order some of these delicious-looking chocolate treats. By the way, in the bottom case near the middle are some chocolate-coated Oreos. I used to make chocolate treats for Christmas gifts and one of my favorite items was chocolate-coated Oreos. Maybe I need to revive that tradition.

Bulk candy — I love it. You can buy the exact sweet treats you like — "only" $13 per pound.

These candies are for display only but what a beautiful display they provide.

Exiting the cafe, we begin to see items of winter clothing. It usually does not get that cold in Phoenix to require heavy clothing but so many people love to go north to Flagstaff and Sedona that there must be places here for them to purchase winter clothing. Scheels it is.

Layers, that's what Arizona requires, layers. Come on down and Scheels will provide just what you need — layers.

This is a cool display — three topless (and I mean TOPLESS) men in jeans appearing to dance in unison (although they were not actually moving). Really cool.

After running around outdoors, perhaps you might enjoy a dip in a heated pool. If you're a guy, you probably need some fancy swim trunks. I like these.

This was a surprise and it seemed like everyone who passed by this display of men's boxer shorts had to stop and look at the selection. Note there are even Sponge Bob Square Pants boxers!

Oooo! These are some very cool cowboy boots. To be honest, I do not own a pair. Maybe I should consider investing in some Western footwear.

Double-oooo! More of them. They are getting hard to resist.

And maybe I might need a nice backpack to go with those new cowboy boots. We have lots of hiking trails near my house.

Perhaps, I might want to travel farther and new luggage would be appropriate. Now we all know where I can purchase it.

To be continued...

Life is good.

Aloha,
B. David
