Beginning some 35 years ago, the Mesa Mormon Temple has decorated its grounds with Christmas lights and an exquisite Nativity scene. For the last five years, the lights were extinguished due to COVID and church remodeling. This year they returned in grand fashion.

My step-grandson, Johnny, and his girlfriend, Isys, accompanied me to view and photograph the displays. I chose this setting to experiment with the photographic ability of my new iPhone — and it did not disappoint. I plan to use it again in the future even though my Nikon DSLR 850 will still be my primary camera.

The photos need no explanation — just sit back and enjoy.
