Pu`u Ola`i Pu`u Ola`i, which translates to "Red Hill", is a 360 foot volcanic cinder cone that is thought to be one of the last active cinder cones on Maui. It separates Oneloa, commonly called "Big Beach", from Pu`u Ola`i, commonly called "Little Beach", a de facto clothing-optional beach. Note that public nudity is illegal in Hawai`i although enforcement is spotty. |
